   Wow…I like what you (or your web­mas­ter 😉 ) have done with the place, Guy! This is very nifty…tis always nice to know I’m not the only one who thinks black is a nice and read­able back­ground color. Just seems like it’s not used as often as one would think it would be.

   Sounds like you’re hav­ing a great time down under! Adrian Belew?! I am so jealous…what I’d give to be able see him and/​or King Crimson live one day. Which reminds me that I STILL need to get the Deja VROOOM and Eyes Wide Open DVDs. Especially the lat­ter, as much as I love the Power To Believe album, and believe it to be just as under­rated and great as the Discipline line­up’s work.

   Looking for­ward to read­ing more about your time in Oz! 🙂

   Glad you’re hav­ing fun and every­thing’s going well. I haven’t checked in an atlas or any­thing but isn’t 5.30pm UK time about 3.30am Australia time?

   I know you’re on the other side of the world but do you know what time slot planet rock put your show on? I missed Sunday’s and the Planet Rock’s new web­site has­n’t got a work­ing lis­ten again fea­ture yet, but more impor­tantly their on-air sched­ule has gone back to say­ing that you’re on from 7 till 9pm. Don’t sup­pose you know if you’ve been shifted again or if it’s just out of date do you? It’s all get­ting a bit con­fus­ing.

   The things DJs will do to ensure they still do their shows, even when they’re away.

   Back in the day, before the inter­net (or teh intar­webs as geeks tend to refer to it), it’d just sim­ply have to be some­one record­ing their show and mail­ing it (mail! what a con­cept!) to their radio sta­tion and pray­ing it got there on time. Now, it’s as easy as hav­ing a lap­top with music on it, a head­set with a mic, and an inter­net con­nec­tion to your sta­tion’s server. Maybe not that /​simple/​, but the basic con­cept is there…

   It’s quite inter­est­ing to see this change of tech­nol­ogy and meth­ods occur­ring in, say, the past 20 years.

   I’d just like to say huge thanks for tak­ing the time to chat to my wife and I the other night, It was a real hon­our plea­sure for me to finally meet you after many years of fol­low­ing and admir­ing your work. Your show was fan­tas­tic and a bloody good laugh, my wife and I are really look­ing for­ward to see­ing Phat Bottom End this after­noon I’m sure you’ll put on great show.
   It’s great to have here in Adelaide I can only hope you had time to get up to the Barossa Valley and sam­pled cop­u­las amount of the local liq­uid prod­ucts.
   Thanks again Guy hope you enjoyed Adelaide,it would great to see you down here per­form­ing again some­time in the future.

   It was great to see your “My Bass & Other Animals” show on the 4^th. Was very suprised to see how ner­vous you were. I think most peo­ple loved the show! Yes the Adelaide crowd was quiet but they were enjoy­ing it. Your show is great so relax when you per­form it!

   I saw your stand-up in Adelaide last week. You have many great sto­ries and I tried to keep up, but you were on fire!! I know, I know, I’ll have to read the book, but could­n’t get one at the fes­ti­val. The magic of the inter­net should be able to solve that prob­lem though. I lis­tened in awe to the 2 songs you played/​wrote at the start of phat bot­tom end — absolutely beau­ti­ful, thank you so much.

    Sorry to hear that there were a few down­ers with Australian tour, espe­cially the book issue.
