   Speaking of which, I have a great story about hang­ing out with Jack and walk­ing off with his SG that Felix Pappalardi gave him.
   ( I was.….buzzed.…just a bit) Maybe some­day (state­side) I can tell you about it over a brew.

    But if one is lis­ten­ing to a good thumpin’ bass in one’s ride, one should never use the foot on the gas pedal to tap along… par­tic­u­larly if Guy is doing One of These Days.

    Ok Guy, no solo albums then, any­way I would like bass gui­tarists solo albums, my favorite instru­ment is the bass and I want to try to play bass&guitar(I can play some­thing well on gui­tar, but not near good) and I would like to take on the bass.

    I watched a few videos from David’s 2006, well VOIOS we fans called them , cos they are not pro­fe­sional shot, rather by some peo­ple in the audinece(whom the secu­rity guys did­n’t found), you all had a great time on stage it seames, did­n’t you?
    And I must say, you were exact­ley as the 1987–1989 Pink Floyd tour,well with shorter hair, but the same great play­ing.

    Any word on pho­tos taken of us before the Oakland show last April? I want to get some copies to put up in my office. We had a great time hav­ing a pint with you and I’d like to always remem­ber that mem­ory with a photo. If you’ve heard from any of the other blog­gers who were there that had cam­eras ready, I’d like to con­nect with them too. I can give an e‑mail address if any­one knows more.

    hi guy. my name is mchael. i am a really big fan of the Floyd. my Question is to you, how do you play “one of these days” on the bass? i’ve been try­ing to play my favorite floyd tune for some time. i would like to know how it is played? what type of equip­ment you need? i have an amp with a delay fea­ture on it, but the high­est it will go to level 8. i’m won­der­ing if i add on another delay unit, will it be a longer delay or does the unit can­cell my amp delay and go directly to the unit which prob­a­bly have a longer delay? i used to play bass in school (long time a go), but unfor­tuneately lost touch for a while. but already just get­ting back into it. i’m try­ing to teach myself, but hav­ing issues. i will be get­ting lessons soon. if you can reply back to me by e‑mail that would be great.
