   Hi Guy i have seen you play on bryan fer­rry’s dvd dylanesque you were bril­liant Bryan only picks the best musi­cians what a fab­u­lous singer he is i have been a big fan Bryan and Roxy i have noticed he has had you on albums here and there i also noticed you were laugh­ing quite abit on the dvd it is obvi­ous that ye have great fun bet tween ye and Bryan he must have a great sence of humour the con­cert at hamp­ton court palace was bril­liant ye shpuld be proud of your­selfs will you be play­ing on the new Roxy album when it arises and Bryan asks you Is the base the same as play­ing gui­tar or is it all one as i have not the faintest idea about them they looked alike when when ye were play­ing them in the stu­dio for the dylanesque album keep up the good work (SiobhanGreaney eire}

   The local press (Australia) have just announced the very good, wise even, news that you are tour­ing … well they say Brian Ferry, but we all know how the press are with mis­lead­ing infor­ma­tion! Anyhoo, I cer­tainly look for­ward to you con­firm­ing here that you will be tour­ing with him. And maybe if we are really lucky you will doing a lit­tle work on your own?

   Hey Guy! I dis­cov­ered your blog here — nice site! I’m com­ing to see your show on Monday in Edinburgh. A nice 3‑hour drive for me! I was won­der­ing — are you around before or after the show? As (another) aspir­ing bassist, I’d love to meet up just for a few drinks and chat? Your book pro­vided some bril­liant read­ing for me while on hol­i­day and I can’t wait to hear/​see more live.

    Hey that’s pretty cool.

    Have read your book sev­eral times now and spilt cof­fee all over it in west­min­ster so now it really looks worn. Quite an inter­est­ing look i must say… Can’t believe your doing your stand up at the Fringe, i was there last week and i might come up again just to see your show.…

    .…oh yeah and pos­si­bly my girl­friend as she’s there work­ing on a show called Escaping Hamlet i believe, but y’know.. it’s Guy frickin’ Pratt.

    Your book is the first book ive read in along time that has really made me laugh. Good show Mr. Pratt.

    I am indeed com­ing to the Antipodes with Mr Ferry. I have no plans to do any shows of my own but would love to if any­one can help?

    I am always happy to say hello to any­one after my shows, although a few drinks might be push­ing it, as I’m only up for a week and have a lot of peo­ple to see!

    The Good Lady and I are hop­ing to take up your offer of “hello” when you are in
    Brisbane (Dec 1^st per­for­mance) … but for us that would involve morn­ing-lunch-after­noon time
    frame; ie ‘gid­day in your hotel foyer or some such’. After the show is no good for us (coun­try folk liv­ing hours from Brisbane). Sorry to be picky. But, if that’s
    no good, she’ll be right. We’ll still like ya. 🙂

    If you are going to be at Hunter Valley per­for­mance on the 24^th Nov, besides being great place for a per­for­mance it is the one I am going to.

    Dear Guy, What a fan­tas­tic sur­prise see­ing you and the mag­nif­i­cent 7 per­fom­ing last night…you were as bril­liant as ever and even more so now can’t wait for the DVD.
