   Nice ques­tion Nate. I did email Guy dur­ing his show about whether he would be there, play­ing or oth­ere­wise but he did­n’t read it out. Maybe we’ll get an extra sur­prise?

   So the glas­ton­bury rumours weren’t total rub­bish then? Which stage are you play­ing on because i went onto the glas­ton­bury line up web­site and i could­n’t find you on it.

   Yay about Planet Rock!! I was get­ting to the point where I was not too wor­ried about the future, not only gut feel­ing I had/​optimist I tend to be and all, but also that I found it inter­est­ing that the PR web­site remained nor­mal when it had been announced that PR had been sold.

   Great show as always yesterday…I have to con­fess that I ended up record­ing it, and lis­tened to it last night. I had com­pany over this week­end, and was quite worn out when they left yes­ter­day afternoon…and there­fore could­n’t help but get in some much needed nap/​meditation time.

   Can’t help but note that I really enjoyed the fact that you played Cream’s “White Room” for the first time ever on the show. Not only is that my most favorite song by them (IF I had to choose), but also hap­pens to be the clos­est thing to the very first com­plete bassline I’m learn­ing right now. 🙂

   Hey Guy.

   Since they moved your show to Sunday nights — Sunday after­noons for us Yanks on the East Cost — it’s been waaay eas­ier to catch your show live — instead of under “Listen Again”.

   On this side of the Atlantic we’re happy not only to be able to access your show dur­ing our off-time, we’re also happy that Planet Rock has a new owner… and a the promise of a “hap­pily ever after”.

   Keep up the good work Guy; we’re still wait­ing for you to come to this side of the Atlantic armed with your book, your bass, and your wit.

    i was read­ing your lit­tle bio in Wikipedia and a fact i just read there left me cold. I am from Mexico, 30 years and here we used to have a group of three girls how sang in the mid-80´s called FLANS. The thing is that in wikipedia says that you played on an album with them in 1987 as a Session Bassist. Well, i still cant believe that fact, after play­ing since 1988 with the biggest Band of All and with the best gui­tar player since…ever. (that would be Pink Floyd). Have you been in Mexico? well, stu­pid ques­tion hence you were here in the DB tour in 1994. I think you are a hell of a bass player, and you seem to be a nice guy, Guy.

    if PF ever reunited again, and you tour with them, ihope you come to mex­ico a meet you in per­son. i will send you by mail a scanned image of an ALL AREA ACCESS pass of the DB tour when you came here in 94.
