   I saw the pre­vi­ous post and I would like come to see you at the “20^th Theatre” but for my mis­for­tune I can not come in London 🙁

   I’m in the same sit­u­a­tion about weather in my coun­try… it’s trans­mit depres­sion.

   About the world post-Obama, I don’t know… but we can only wait and see…

   Hello, hello Guy!

   I hate to say that I too won’t be able to attend ‘Notting Good Taste 2’…not unless I can pull a ‘Marty Hopkirk’ and ‘blink’ my way to London from my abode here in Virginia. 😉 And that said, I obvi­ously would adorn the audi­ence with my pres­ence if I could…but the best I can do for now is wish you noth­ing but the best for you and the show. 🙂

   Speaking of shows, I have to con­fess that I did­n’t lis­ten to all of your Planet Rock show this past Sunday…I ended up record­ing it, and am hop­ing to finally lis­ten to it tonight. Been ridicu­lously busy lately…but I think that will some­what sub­side a lit­tle now, and will cer­tainly do my best to lis­ten to your show live this upcom­ing Sunday.

   As for the weather…I don’t think it could get any worst than being in the teens-sin­gle dig­its for DAYTIME tem­per­a­tures like it did here over the last cou­ple of weeks!! *shiv­ers* Usually, I like the colder weather months more than warm, but that very much got me clam­our­ing for Spring to arrive here ASAP.

    I’m sad to say that I am not really expect­ing a response to this, but as they say, if ya don’t ask…

    Does any­one here hap­pen to have the first half of today’s episode of Guy’s Planet Rock show recorded? I recorded the show due to my being out and about all after­noon, and either the PR player or Audacity screwed up. Either way, I’ve got only the last 54 min­utes of the show… *sighs*

    BTW, in what I’ve heard of the those 54 min­utes, awe­some that you played Little Feat, Guy. 🙂 Actually wild you did that, con­sid­er­ing that for some rea­son a day or two ago, I was think­ing it would be cool if you played Lowell George and Co…

    It’s the old planet rock web player, and the lis­ten again fea­ture still gets updated but there’s no link to it from planet rock’s web­site for some rea­son. Sorry if it’s no bet­ter than what you’ve already got.

    Thomas!! You’re awe­some!! That is GREAT!!!! And not just from the stand­point of sit­u­a­tions like mine, but also gen­eral listening…I don’t know what Planet Rock thought was wrong with the old player in the first place. To be hon­est, I have not been enam­ored with the new player since it has been implemented…it’s a huge pain to record from when I can’t be avail­able to lis­ten. And when I do try to lis­ten live, I am often forced to reset the player (annoy­ingly Windows Media Player based…there’s a rea­son I pre­fer just about any other media player over that stoopid thing) at least once, if not twice dur­ing the pro­gram. I never, NEVER had any of those prob­lems with the old player.

    Anyway, I can’t thank you enough, Thomas…I’m book­mark­ing that sucker when I get home from work.

    I’m glad that the link proved to be use­ful. I would’ve posted it ear­lier but i only dis­cov­ered it still worked a few days ago when i was sort­ing out some old book­marks that i had­n’t used in a while.

    What i don’t under­stand is why it’s updated but planet rock don’t put a link to it on their web­site.

    Your may have a good point there Guy it may not make much sense, BUT I do live in hope of the day when Mr Davies needs to top up his retire­ment fund and reforms Icehouse with your fan­tas­tic tal­ent in the Icehouse engine room one more time.
    Love them or hate them the 80’s were the decade when the bass crept out of the closet.
    I for one would love to hear that haunt­ing bass of The Mountain and those smooth phat bass lines of Stay Close Tonight and Dusty Pages but to name a few one more time LIVE.
    And Guy ques­tion any plans of com­ing down to Adelaide again for the next Guitar Festival?

    Good to see Planet Rock got their “Listen Again” func­tion work­ing again — it was busted for some time after the web­site changed. Given the time dif­fer­ence between the US and the UK it’s not always easy for us to catch your show live.

    Just a note here, but I got a lovely email from Planet Rock say­ing Guy’s show is mov­ing to Fridays from 8–10 UK time. It did­n’t say when the change was tak­ing place (was­n’t tonight), but just an FYI for any­one who isn’t on PR’s mail­ing list.
